Major Charles W Raymond Corps of Engineers

Major By direction of the Secretary of War you will, when your other duties permit, Call together the Board of Engineers upon Maximum Spans of Suspension Bridges and consider and report for his information upon the involved Specifications

The journeys required are necessary for the public service.
