I have received to day the inclosed bill dated March 1 for three years subscription to Putnams Magazines as an outstanding account. I have never ordered or subscribed for the Magazine, but these has been brought to my house, at odd times. Straggling numbers. Some half a dozen or so in all, which I have assumed were sent as specimens. I inclose you a check for four dollars, and request that no more copies be sent to my address.
