We found it too gay at the Pier for [Julia?] and the frivolity wore upon me. I went down to the farm, and stopped an hour or so saw all the Goulds who were very pleasant. I went over to the Cemetery to see in particular the Stone over dear Harry’s grave. I thought the Stone very [??] simple and expressive, and it would be difficult to improve on it.

We left the Pier the morning of the 15th and came to this place.
