here on the 20th inst for Willetts Point where they will take board for a few weeks in the vicinity of the Fort and make Lincoln a visit.

I shall not be able to leave here before the middle of August. when my hay fever will drive me away. We are all having high hopes soon of the Presidents recovery but he is not by any means out of danger. May a Divine Providence preserve him for the Service of his country.

We are all pretty well and send love to all.
