intends to follow for this out. I have rented the place for one year to a Mr. Thos. J. Gould. He is not a regular farmer by trade. but a carpenter. He was born in Boston Neck and has lived in and among a farming community all his life and is I believe an honest man. At all events I am going to try him for a year.

The Briggs have given me a quit claim deed for all suffered rights or privileges they may have back. I think it was very kind in them.

I haven't heard whether Hunt intended on visiting Fort Brady or not this fall, or where Abby is now with her family, I wish you would write me in your next, and give me her address for I would like to write her.
