My own Father,
I had hoped before this to have been able to write you of something definite with regard to my movements. but as yet matters are unsettled and include uncertain. I have however made up my mind to resign if my leave for six months for which I on the 23 of April is refused . Gen is acting very ugly towards me, and I firmly believe will try and prevent my resignation from being accepted. Write after delays.
