I have just received notice of another assessment of my [silver?] [strike?] in Mexico, making the twenty fourth assessment I have [found?] since the first obtaining it. I have got tired and worn out with this [sort?] of thing and have sent out a power of attorney to sell the thing out _ I hope I may get what it has cost me.

Emma is quite tired and worn with taking care of the baby but joins me in kind love to all at home.
