My Dear Father.

I wrote you a few days ago but forgot to enclose the within photograph of little Ned. Just as soon as Emma and I have any [others?] taken we will send them on also.

Little Ned I am sorry to say is quite sick and is looking badly. He was taken about the 10th [??] with chicken pox. Lincoln having brought it home with him from school. Since the eruption of the chicken pox on the baby has disappeared, a large and very painful swelling of the glands upon the right side of his neck has appeared and the little fellow is looking
