The attention of parents, guardians, and friends of Cadets is called particularly to the following regulations, which is deemed indispensable to the welfare of the Academy, and must be strictly enforced in all cases. Ever infraction inflicts a direct injury on the Cadet, and an indirect one on the Institution. The provision made for the Cadet by the Government is ample:

REGULATIONS, par. 140.--No Cadet shall apply for or receive money, or any other supplies, from his parents, or from any person whomsoever, without permission of the Superintendent.
