My dear Father

I send today by express the drawing for the tablet so that you may see it before it is finished up. I think the letters are a very good size to be easily read and the name will stand out quite distinct.

The lines are placed quite close together but this keeps it from looking thin and gives it a much better effect.

The brass ends just outside the ornamental border and the whole thing over all is the same in dimensions as the Eldridge tablet opposite, but is placed
