Yesterday morning I went down to see the tablet at Lambs but was told by the old man that I would not to be allowed to see it until it was finished as this was a rule they had although he gives no reason why they had such a rule. I will write him to send the plate down to the office when finished - if it isn't right he can have the pleasure of doing it over again as he seems to prefer this way of doing it.
