a little over a week + have been here for a few days at a time ever since + am to go again tomorrow. The hops are quite pleasant and the bathing in the morning is lots of fun. Some days ago Ned & I went on quite a cruise about the bay. were gone four days and three nights - and had for sleeping accommodations the cuddy of the cat boat in which we sailed. I think we had about enough of it. We first went to Newport, thence to Bristol and Rocky Point - at the latter place we heard the opera Fatanitza it was sung by quite a good company - There! pease excuse that blot. I always was unlucky in that respect. From Rocky Pt. we sailed to Providence + from that place home. The time is not very far off where I shall have to go back to [?]---It isn't a very agreeable thought. The 16th of September looms up ahead very distinctly.
