We arrived in Boston at about 7 o'clock Saturday morning & after getting breakfast and walking around a littlest in the train for this place, where we arrived all in good shape. I thought West Roxbury was more of a place, but it is just like the country only there lamp posts scattered all about with the names of the streets painted on them. Yesterday afternoon Wright and I went in swimming in the roaring Charles River. The first time I had ever been bathing in fresh water. I found it much easier to swim in the fresh water than I expected and had a good bath. After tea we drove around a little in a buggy that they have here- Wright's father is the Clergyman of a small church here and a real nice kind man. There are two cousins of Wright's visiting here now 14 and 16 years old they are nice little girls. I was pretty glad to get through there in New Haven but the vacation has come on so gradually that there is now very much excitement mixed with it. We are going down to Nantasket beach tomorrow if every thing is favorable. I think I shall leave here for New Haven Wednesday, see the race Thursday and go home Friday, by the four o'clock train from New York. I hope it won't be roasting
