My Dear Mother,

This is the last Sunday that I shall spend here this summer and I am not very sorry either. There is nothing going on here now to speak of except examinations and there are enough of them to make the air turn blue. We have finished three. I got through pretty well - Analytics comes on Monday and I hope he will let us off pretty easily.

Friday afternoon I went out to see our nine and the Chicagos play - we got licked out of our boots 12 to 1, but as they are the best nine in the country, that is not to be
