a short time until the race comes off - the 1st of July. The fellows have go up a petition to get the examinations in description removed. I don't think I shall sign it - but I think they will get it off .[??] having given warning [??] now. I suppose you are roasting in Washington. You asked in your letter what marks I am getting.I don't know the figures but think they are generally pretty good. We are to have a class supper after examinations and think I shall attend. They stick you 1/4 for it. I shall be mighty glad when the exams are through. I hope I shall get through all right. We have descriptives in a few minutes so I must close.
