here for a nice suit. Hodgson the bicycle man has sold out to a firm in NY and there is no telling when I shall get my machine. I have written to Owens asking him to find out about it. Ely got a letter saying that his would be finished in about two weeks. I went out yesterday to the Yale-Harvard BaseBall game. Dubois, who lives in the city, got a carriage & took [Evert?], Thom and myself out. At first it looked as if Harvard wouldn't get a run but in the 6th inning they managed to get one and in the 7th - 3. The score was 21 to 4 in their favor. Monday I took a short ride on the bicycle but it was very warm & with my thick clothes on, pretty hot work. I had my hat - straw hat- made over last week. The brim made narrower and a different ribbon put in. I will do first rate for a second hat. How does the clock look that you bought. I should think it would be a great addition. I went down to NY Wednesday as I didn't want to [lose?] the Ball Game on Saturday. I saw the Babcocks and stopped at Grandpa Weir’s for a short time. I didn't see a soul but Grandpa & I guess they don't care a cent whether they see any one or not. Grandpa seemed quite lively and well. He wants me to take that picture of when the [?] was opened
