My dear Mother.
The box came today, as I was going down stairs I saw it at Wrights' door +& carried it up stairs forwit+ unpacked it.
The little extras were first rate - the socks look almost too good to wear,+ the cravat is beautiful + on the caramels, Wright and I passed judgement as being first rate. I shall send the box back again soon with some of my winter things overcoat &c. We are having warm weather here now + I have got on my summer coat. It is not very good weather to study in
Yr affec son.
