[Errands?] are thick enough especially when Mrs. French is there. This afternoon Thorne and I walked out to the ball grounds and saw a game between the University and the Brooklyners. We beat them 5 to 1. It was a pretty good game. Next Saturday comes the first game with Harvard. I expect there will be a great crowd to see it, and I hope we will lick them out of their boots.I will go to bed now and finish this in the morning -

Last Wednesday Kee Yung, one four Chinamen, who owns a bicycle and I went out for a ride - over into East Haven and around by the boat-house. I think we must have ridden about 5 miles, which however is not more than a equal to walking a mile. We were gone about an hour and a half.
