My dear Mother,

I rec'd your letter today asking if I wanted any thing in the box you are going to send. I didn't think of any thing now, and I would like to get it pretty soon as it is getting quite warm here, and fellows are coming out in spring suits. I should like to see the clock - is it a good one + are you going to put it in the hall or dining room. I have got another batch of my pictures + if you want another one I can send it in.
