My Dear Mother.

I have just come home from chapel & will write my letter before I go up to Uncle Johns. It has commenced to rain & I suppose the month of May will be showery instead of April although it rained enough in that month.

I took a short bicycle ride last week - but the wheel to the machine was like a snake - they have the most miserable machines here I ever saw. They almost shake in their joints if you look
