My Dear Father,
I have decided to get a no 1 velocity, a 53 in if the manufacturer can make it with all the parts in proportion - the backbone to match the wheel &c. Perhaps he would put in a 53 wheel with a 54 back-bone. If he can't make a 53 in, all right - (Owens would know), I want a 52 in. The catalogue price is I think, $92.50 but he will take off $5 or $6 for me, which will put it in the eightys. I wish you would tell him to send right off for it. Ely sent off for his the other day, a velocity, so he got the start of me.
