A velocity for 6 weeks as they were very busy at the manufactory. That shows it is a pretty good machine. We have commenced the lectures in Botany we have to take notes and are examined on them at the end of the term.

I have been to chapel + will finish this letter now. We had a strange preacher and got out early. Wright is going to get a sail boat if he can. And the idea of a bicycle has about departed from his [??] brain. I got excused from recitation Saturday morn'g and went to NY. with Wright Friday night. He went down to have his throat fixed. I went to the doctor he gave me some medicine + said that was nothing serious the matter but that was a [weird?] [?] in the mucus [?] one the ducts.

He asked after you and mother. I got a couple of casts for my room they are panels with [storks?] on them
