water how far it was into the city he said it was 5 miles so we had quite a tramp + I was pretty tired when we got in - I went to a praise Service they had in the Chapel Sunday evg it was jammed + some of the time I had to stand up. Tuesday afternoon Wright and I went out on the bicycle for about an hour - we had a real nice ride. Wednesday afternoon Everit and I took a longer ride. I tumbled down a number of times - we went down by the boat house and to a road that leads into the country beyond. it was quite warm and we had a pretty hard ride.

I got the fringe all right and have it tacked on the mantel piece now. I shall want $28 extra sent month to pay initiation fee.

We had a cut in Physics Thursday afternoon. Lyman didn't come. We gave him five minutes to get there, all standing around with a watches in our hands and telling each other not to talk loud [?] we should scare him up. After five minutes were up we all lit out. That is the only 5 )'clock recitations we have.

I had some pictures taken and expect to get them tomorrow when I will send some on.

This is a splendid day just the kind for a long walk.
