My dear General:

Yours with the letter of [?] is received and I am glad to see, that the parties recognize we have been of some service to them. Under these circumstances we might send them a small bill say [crossed out] of a hundred or [crossed out] hundred and fifty dollars each. Our advice about the [?] estimate of materials has saved them much more than that.
