I have taken no action as yet.

Should like to have your views after you have considered the matter.

Eventually I will have to see the Mayor perhaps, to explain that we have by no means communicated all the difficulties in the way.

I suppose as a fact, if the Mayor does the right thing all though, I mean assume his proper responsibility - give us definite instructions &c, &c. &c. - we shall have to succumb.
