and New York Railroad Company; to the Pennsylvania Company, and, as far as practicable, to all parties interested, as to the time and place appointed for the meeting of the Board, in order that they may be afforded an opportunity for expressing their views in reference to the Bill in question.

The Board is authorized to visit the locality of the bridge and to cause such examinations to be made thereof as may be deemed necessary to a proper understanding of the subject.

The expenses of the Board will be paid by Lieutenant Colonel G.L. Gillespie, Corp of Engineers, from the appropriation for "Improving channel between Staten Island and New Jersey".
