Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army.
Philadelphia, March 14 1888
Col T L Casey
New York City
Dear Colonel:
I telegraphed you today asking when our Board on Arthur Kill Bridge would meet. As the Board was to meet the representatives of the various R. Rs, I assume that you will want time to notify them again of the meeting. As there has been no communication with New York since Sunday, I suppose the R.R. representatives did not meet the members of the Board in N.Y. & therefore that the Board meeting was postponed. Col Craighill has just inquired if Friday next would suit me for a Board meeting here, & I replied yes. I wrote Gen'l Comstock asking him to change the day of our Board meeting here, if you have appointed Friday for the Arthur Kill Board.
